Family Of Friends Haiti Fundraising
First Baptist Church hosted a fund raiser on Saturday February 6th, 2010. We are giving all donations to the Haitian people personally in the form of food, water, medical supplies (i.e. first aid kits, and clothing. Pastor Jonathan Cobb and his Haitian wife are going to Haiti to buy and distribute these desperately needed items to the Haitian people!100% of all money raised will be used to buy food, water, medical supplies, and clothing and will pay for the rental of a truck to bring in these supplies. Lyndia Cobb, wife of Pastor Jonathan Cobb, had this idea of going to Haiti to help her fellow Hatians in their great time of need.
First Baptist Church has set up a special account called the HELPING HAITI FUND which is tax deductible under the church's 501C3 designation as a non-profit organization and will give each donor a receipt.
